Fallon Pop Warner Junior Football League

Welcome to Fallon Pop Warner. We are a proud 34-year member of Pop Warner Little Scholars, the oldest and largest youth sports organization in America, and our parent organization, Sagebrush Pop Warner, was founded in the 1960's. We have 90 plus football teams and 70 plus cheer teams in our league, and the competition is fierce. We’re actively recruiting kids to come out and play for the 2023 season, and we are seeking coaches and staff members too. All athletes, coach-trainees and student demonstrators are required to maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average. Those failing to do so will be placed on academic probation and required to provide weekly progress reports from their teachers to our scholastic's coordinator. Fallon Pop Warner has NO weight restrictions! Our teams are staffed based on age. No X-Men! Players can play any position the coaching staff qualifies them for. All teams will be staffed according to Pop Warner rules, which mandates each player will play a minimum of ten plays per game, not to include kickoff's, extra points, spiking the ball or free kicks. For 2023, Sagebrush Pop Warner has been granted a variance by Pop Warner National that allows us to field single age teams (9U, 10U, 11U, etc.) on a case-by-case basis, provided we have the players, coaches and staff to legally do so. Also new this year, high school freshmen (Pop Warner 14U age players) can play on both the pop warner & the high school teams at the same time! Our 14U squads play the freshmen squads in our area where the high schools don't field a freshman team. Players can be no older than 14 on July 31st, and football coach-trainees must be 16 or 17 years old at the beginning of the season. Fallon Pop Warner football teams are very competitive, striving for regional and national championship berths and competing in the “Battle of the Leagues”, playing the top teams from Nevada, California, Oregon and Washington State. Our Cheer squads are also very competitive, appearing at Regionals, Nationals and Jamz competitions. Cheer ages range from 5 to 15, and football from 5 to 14. Fallon Pop Warner has consistently been in the play-offs since 2014, with four regional football, and five regional cheerleading championship appearances and numerous awards. We have strict requirements for our staff members. All football coaches and staff are required to complete a training program that includes USA Football Heads-Up and Player Safety training courses and are required to have valid CPR/AED training certificates. All cheer coaches and staff are trained and certified through YCADA and Jamz training courses. All coaches and adult staff members are required to pass a comprehensive federal, state and local background check. There are No gate fees or seasonal passes required for regular season games.
