Fort Thomas Jr. Football League

For over 60 years, the goal of the Fort Thomas Junior Football League has been to prepare the next generation of Highlands Bluebird football players, by creating an instructional league focused on sportsmanship, hard work and fundamentals. We will properly motivate our athletes to win every practice rep, every snap, and every game, but the ultimate goal of this league is to teach the game of football and maximize playing time by putting the development of young athletes first. With this as our focus, in addition to fielding the Highlands 7th & 8th grade teams, we will provide any child in grades 3-6, from any city, who wants to become a better football player, a fun, safe, and positive atmosphere to do so. This philosophy, coupled with the hard work of our athletes, coaches, parents and community has helped produce the fourth winningest high school football program in America and 23 Kentucky High School Football State Championships.
