Our league is really hoping to be chosen for a grant this year because we have seen the positive effects it has had on our players and want to continue that opportunity for them. Several parents have told us how thankful they are that their children have found friendships and have more focus on their grades. A large percentage of kids in our organization come from a single parent home and I am proud to say the coaches that we have within our league have also acted as a father figure for them.
