Wakulla County Youth Football and Cheerleading Association Inc.

We are a non-profit organization {501 (3) (c)} in a rural low-income community in Wakulla County, Florida. The age range of our youth is 6 -12. Any child, regardless of financial situation, is eligible for our program. Our objective is to familiarize young participants with the fundamentals of football and cheerleading and to provide them with the opportunity to play in an organized and supervised environment. We believe that inspired, engaged, and motivated athletes mean stronger communities and brighter futures. We provide organized full contact tackle football and cheerleading opportunities for our local youth. We feel that youth football & cheerleading are excellent vehicles to teach children the fundamentals of the game, as well as sportsmanship, teamwork, respect, and work ethic. Our goal is to encourage passion, intensity, joy, confidence, and a sense of community that football and cheerleading brings to those who play, coach & support them. We strive to provide a safe loving environment, where safety is of the utmost importance. Through our association last year, we had the pleasure of serving 318 children and their families, as well as allowing local businesses the opportunity to support our program. The age range of our youth is 6 -12. We do not turn away any child, regardless of financial situation. Our association and its affiliates see to it that every child gets to participate if they desire.
